An exhaustive list is impractical, but commonly encountered conditions include anxiety states, allergies, arthritis, asthma, back, neck and joint pain, circulatory problems, depression, digestive and eliminative disorders, insomnia, menstrual problems, migraine and headaches, rheumatism, skin conditions, tinnitus, tiredness and lack of motivation etc.
Treatment can also be very effective in dealing with recent acute problems like sciatic pain, neck spasm, colds etc.
Acupuncture treatment is suitable for most people of all ages and occupations. Treatment works well with patients receiving conventional medical treatment from their doctor, as well as those who are having chiropractic, osteopathy and other complementary medicine.

What can acupuncture help?
Acpuncture is one of the oldest forms of healing known to mankind.
Acupuncture originated in China and spread to many countries of the Orient, where it has evolved into varying styles of practice. Acupuncture has been the subject of study, assessment and development for nearly five thousand years.
Traditional acupuncture is based on the principle that good health is dependent on the balanced functioning of the body’s vital energy, which is known as Qi (pronounced ‘chee’) This energy flows throughout the body to reach all living tissue, down to the last cell, where it is responsible for such roles as activating, nourishing and protecting.
Qi is involved in our growth, development, constitutional strength and ability to fight disease. Indeed, it is essential in every aspect of our health and wellbeing.
