What can allergy testing help?

A survey of 6,000 people in the UK, carried out in May 2003 by Allergy UK, (A Medical Charity founded in 1991) showed 69.8% either had or had a close relative suffering from some kind of allergy. Also 50% had children of whom 39.2%  also suffered from allergic complaints.

The testing method used is one of several capable of use within the field of Bio-Electronic Regulatory Medicine (BER).

The patient holds an electrode in one hand that is connected to the testing unit and a probe is placed on an acupuncture pressure point on a finger or toe on the opposite side of the body, thus placing the patient in a circuit with the machine.  Samples of the potential allergen are placed in the diagnostic unit that will then indicate whether there is any resistance from the patient to the substance in question.

The basic allergy test will include over 100 substances and a vitamin and mineral deficiency test.  The patient’s results are recorded by the tester, after which advice as to how to eliminate the offending foods is given.  In addition, appropriate supplementation is recommended.  Testers recommend a follow up appointment for a retest after a period of between 4 and 12 weeks depending on the specific results so that progress can be monitored.  After 3 months on the elimination programme the patient is advised on the safe re-introduction of foods back into their diets.
Headaches, migraines, tiredness, fatigue, weight problems, eczema, psoriasis, asthma, catarrh, sinus congestion, IBS, digestive disorders, anxiety and depression.
If you suffer with any of the above complaints, an hour’s test could seriously change your life!!
