A bespoke service
Every patient is unique, everyone has a different hearing loss and a different lifestyle, which is why at West Country Clinical Hearing Services, Kate offers a bespoke service that means that every hearing aid is custom made and tailored to the patient's individual needs.
Latest technology
Being independent means that Kate can use the latest technology. She now uses 4th generation digital processing chips which are much faster and have exceptional background noise suppression. Other advances include 'anti-shock', 'no whistle technology' and Bluetooth communication with mobile phones and miniaturisation. The Open Ear technologies are virtually invisible and keep the ear canal very open allowing natural sounds to be processed as normal, reducing occlusion and making the aid very comfortable to wear.

Kate Cross
BSc(Hons) RHAD. FSHAA.
Kate trained in the NHS and worked as a Senior Audiologist at a local hospital. She has worn hearing aids herself since the age of 10 and was originally fitted with NHS aids. Whilst the NHS does ao outstanding job and fits basic digital technology, Kate realised that the generic model available on the NHS did not suit every patient. She uses her expertise and experience to ensure that each patient obtains the right aid for them.
NB that purchasing an aid includes a 'lifetime' of free
adjustment and back up as well as the manufacturer's warranty.
