What can natural nutrition help?

The aim of nutritional therapy is to identify and deal with the root cause of a specific health problem, rather than give a short-term solution.
If a person is provided with a nutrient rich, well digested and absorbed diet, the body is designed to repair itself. However, there are other factors that can interfere with the body’s use of its food, such as poor digestion, food intolerances, toxic overload, or unbalanced gut bacteria.
During the initial consultation a full and confidential case history is taken in order to assess the possible underlying causes. A personalised treatment plan is created for immediate action which will identify the systems in the body that require support and specify particular foods that need to be included, increased or eliminated for therapeutic benefit. Relevant handouts will be given to the patient to enable them to establish the important dietary changes as effectively as possible. Supplements and lifestyle changes may also be suggested.
